Here you will find terms and conditions regarding your remuneration and report forms to get it.
All student representatives who are members of SöderS can receive remuneration for their work. To receive the remuneration, you need to be formally appointed by the union, be a union member for the current semester and submit your timesheet with correct information on time.
Time reporting is done after the end of the semester. You will receive an email from SöderS when it is time.
Remuneration are paid one to two months after the end of the semester.
The remuneration for assignments as a student representative is based on the total number of meetings and meeting hours during a semester.
Base: 100 SEK/meeting
Hourly: 100 SEK/meeting hour
The base fee is for preparations and follow-up work, such as reading documents, communicating and informing students about current issues, etc.
Some assignments require more preparation time. Therefore, different remuneration levels are applied for assignments in the Faculty Board and the Disciplinary Board.
Base: 300 SEK/meeting
Hourly: 100 SEK/meeting hour
Student representatives are also entitled to remuneration for chairman's decisions. These are counted as the number of decisions per semester. To take part in these, you need to:
Take part in the proposal and read through any associated decision documentation.
Feedback to the individual decision-maker. Depending on the forum, feedback can be via email, telephone or a presentation. The number of emails or similar in the same conversation for decision-making does not count as the number of decisions.
The remuneration for chairman's decisions is as follows:
1 - 5 decisions: 100 SEK
6 - 10 decisions: 200 SEK
11 and more: 300 SEK
Fill in the time report at the end of the semester and report the total amount of meetings and hours for the entire semester. If you are appointed in several different councils at the university, you fill in a time report for each council.
Last day to time report for the spring semester 2025 is July 6th 2025.
