At SöderS, we do everything we can to make sure your first semester at Södertörn University starts in the best possible way. Even before your studies begin, we invite you to our Sneak-Start Week (“Smygstartsveckan”), where you'll have the chance to explore the campus, discover new favorite spots, and meet both new and returning students. There will be guided tours, opportunities to buy course literature, and hangouts at our very own student pub – SöderS Pub – which is open every Wednesday and Friday during the academic year!
Our student association SÖFRE also organizes the annual Kick-off (“Insparken”), which begins on August 14th and lasts for two whole weeks filled with fun activities and community-building for all new students. Sign up for the Kick-off now at sofre.se so that you won’t miss a thing!
On September 1st, the academic term officially begins, and we’ll kick off the semester’s Starting Week with a ceremonial welcome from both the university’s Vice-Chancellor and the President of the student union. You'll have the opportunity to meet our student associations and services, connect with our partners, explore the entire Flemingsberg Campus, and of course, become a member of the student union!

On campus, you’ll find the student union in the F-Building, Floor 5 – just take a right after the escalators from Flemingsberg station.
