Summer, summer, summertime time to kick back and unwind

The term is over and the corridors echo sadly empty. The student union, on the other hand, continues to scurry around to end the business year and get us ready for the start of the autumn term. Here is some summer information that may be useful to keep track of:

The office's availability during the summer

During the period 1 July - 1 August, the office is closed. This means that doors will be locked and that the staff will be on holiday. If you need to contact us, we refer you to and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

About membership

If you are already studying at Södertörn University and will continue your studies in the autumn, it is possible to renew your membership for the autumn semester or for the whole academic year from July. The membership will be activated at the start of the semester on August 28.

If you are a new student, you should wait to become a member until you have registered for your education so that you are sure that you will study at Södertörn University during the autumn semester.

Start of semester

All information about the start of the autumn term with activities, information and everything else it entails will be published on our website and sent out closer to the start of the term. The autumn term 2023 runs from August 28th 2023 til January 14th 2024.
