Like previous years, SöderS is collaborating with Södertörn University in Academic Pride for Stockholm Pride Parade 2025. Academic Pride exists to highlight the importance of LGBTQ+ inclusion in academia – both in research and in social environment.
Students, staff, and alumns are all welcome to join the parade and celebrate love together with us!
On this site, we'll publish the newest updates about the starting order, the pre-parade party as well as information about Academic Pride in Pride House. Academic Pride's equipage consists of a truck, together with pedestrian participants. The vehicle guards ensure that the pedestrians don't get too close to the truck, risking injuries. The parade is around two to three hours long, and the guards are present before and during the whole parade for maximum safety!
